Tasks Define mechanical resistance values of standard PV systems using FEM calculations. Support sales and design for glass constructions in various applications. Conduct static proofs according to SIA and Eurocode standards, including reports. Skills Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar; experience in structural glass design. Proficient in 3D CAD, especially SolidWorks, and FEM analysis. Strong communication skills in German and good English proficiency. Your Challenge Definition of the mechanical resistance values of our standard PV systems using FEM calculations as well as tests on our own test bench Support for internal sales and sales teams in the design and dimensioning of glass constructions (laminated safety glass, toughened safety glass, heat-strengthened glass) for façades, roofs, and overhead glazing in commercial projects Execution of structural verifications according to SIA and Eurocode standards including preparation of technical reports Assessment of wind loads, snow loads, and thermal effects on glass elements Ensuring the compliance of our products and systems with standards Close collaboration with glass manufacturers, façade planners, general contractors/specialist contractors, and software partners Participation in the further development of our BIPV systems and technical solutions Your Profile Completed studies in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field (FH, ETH/TU), ideally with further training in glass construction, façade technology, or BIPV Several years of experience in the design of structural glass construction Advantageous: practical experience from a technical basic training (e.g. draftsman, designer, mechanic) Solid knowledge of 3D CAD (especially SolidWorks) Experience in FEM analyses and strength calculations Fluent German and good English skills Structured, independent working style and high personal responsibility Communicative, committed, and solution-oriented personality Our Offer An innovative and future-oriented company in the field of renewable energies A motivated, dynamic team with an open, appreciative corporate culture Varied and challenging tasks with scope for creativity Modern work equipment and an innovative working environment Good public transport connections and modern infrastructure Ready to help shape the energy transition with us?
