Join RUAG and work on Swiss Air Force fighter jets! Enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment with great benefits. Tasks Perform maintenance and inspections on aircraft systems and components. Troubleshoot and repair issues based on error reports and processes. Conduct visual and functional checks after flights for aircraft safety. Skills Completed vocational training in mechanical fields, like mechanics or mechatronics. Strong technical skills and ability to work under pressure. Conversational English skills (B1/B2), French is a plus. This is what you can achieve In your role, you work directly on the combat jets of the Swiss Air Force and mainly take on the following tasks: Maintenance & servicing: Carrying out scheduled maintenance intervals including replacement & testing of systems Repairs & troubleshooting: Analysis of error messages, troubleshooting processes and structural repairs Modification and inspection orders: Visual and functional checks after each flight (aircraft and system condition) Work documentation and quality management Attending internal training and courses This is what you bring with you Completed vocational training (EFZ) in the mechanical field, e.g. as a polymechanic, plant and apparatus builder, mechatronics technician, diagnostician or comparable Strong technical skills Conversational English skills (level B1/B2) desired (additionally French skills for Payerne) High commitment and flexibility Resilient personality with team player qualities, strong sense of responsibility/safety awareness and precise and reliable working method Swiss citizenship Salary and benefits Can you repair a Ferrari engine faster than the police allow?
