The Financial Accountant role in Geneva offers an opportunity to manage and oversee financial processes. This permanent position focuses on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. For our client, a trading house company, located in Geneva, we are currently looking for a financial accountant. Description Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently. Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax-related filings. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls. Provide financial insights to support decision-making within the organisation. Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
