About the job The privately run senior centre in the heart of Winterthur offers around 150 residents a living space where they feel comfortable and are cared for according to their needs. The Wiesengrund Senior Centre is a recognised and popular establishment in the healthcare sector. Our highly motivated housekeeping team takes care of the basic and maintenance cleaning of the rooms and apartments of our residents, all public areas and ancillary rooms in the Wiesengrund Senior Centre, as well as laundry services. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start date for a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ (m/f/d) all workloads What you can achieve with us: Preparation of residents' and operational laundry (sorting, stain treatment, washing) Folding and distributing operational and residents' laundry Carrying out maintenance and spot cleaning tasks (including residents' rooms, living groups, public zones, office areas, infrastructure rooms, windows, cloakrooms) Interim and deep cleaning tasks Performing administrative duties Inventory management and ordering Carrying out various housekeeping tasks Relief assignments in floor service What you bring with you: Very good written and spoken German skills and good listening comprehension of Swiss German Completed training as a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ or many years of experience IT experience (Word, Excel, digital ordering platforms) Quick comprehension and reliability A cool head in hectic situations Independence and adaptability in a very agile environment Willingness to work weekends and public holidays Trainer course What we offer you: Attractive employment conditions with many extras and at least 5 weeks’ holiday A free day off on your birthday Sick pay premiums fully covered by the employer Careful induction process, appreciative and family-like company culture Extensive menu selection at preferential prices, free fruit and hot drinks Exclusive discount on telephony, internet and TV with Sunrise Generous support for further training Opportunities for development within the company Look forward to an interesting and varied role centred on living and life in old age.
