About the job Job Description Your daily tasks & responsibilities Creating Briefing Definitions, Planning, organizing, realization of trade fairs and events and the subsequent collection of costs and the practice of negotiations on costs Report all activities to the Marketing manager and to have the Marketing Manager as your direct line supervisor Managing and coordinating our portfolio of event materials, digital content, decoration and technology Giving feedback to stand builders for future improvements Liaise and cooperate with internal departments such as sales as well as external agencies and exhibition stand builders at regional and international level Liaise, coordinate and manage show travels and communications (of colleagues) to Corporate Jet and organizers Coordinate, manage and build up the Christmas Party Event at the end of every year Continuous optimization of our planning and organizational processes Regular preparation of reports Collaboration in writing texts and designing presentations and other marketing resources The expertise you have & skills you bring Completed education or studies in the field of marketing and event management 5+ years of experience in a generalist marketing assistant role and in the conception and organization of simple to complex events and trade fairs You communicate fluently in German and English (French is a plus) and you have a well-groomed and convincing appearance As a team player, you remain calm and flexible even in hectic moments and see these as positive challenges You are proficient in writing texts in English and German and have a good command of PowerPoint and Excel What we offer (among other things) Working in an owner-managed, young and dynamic company with hands-on mentality Multifaceted, challenging and responsible position within a niche industry Attractive employment conditions and social benefits – 5 weeks of holidays, pensions and company benefits A workplace in the middle of the city of Basel and Basel EuroAirport with various employee discounts from a variety of offerings (Fleets, Bars & Restaurants etc.) Corporate events like our summer BBQ and the annual Christmas Party Additional information Working places: City office at Sternengasse 18 in Basel and Basel EuroAirport A car is required for your own personal transport between working locations Willingness to travel, e.g. for trade fairs and projects at our international locations Apply Does your profile match our requirements?
