Develop system identification algorithms and control strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D for project success. Skills MSc in mechatronics or computer science with embedded systems experience. Proficient in C programming and development toolkits for embedded systems. YOUR CHALLENGES In order to develop advanced modern products, we are looking to bolster our competences in the domain of mechatronic, seeking an expert motion control engineer. In addition your responsibilities are: Modelling advanced mechatronic systems and implementation in Matlab/Simulink Developing and performing system and parameter identification algorithms Design advanced control algorithms and machine learning techniques Industrialized Coding in C & C++of control systems Algorithm verification in collaboration with development engineers Develop, perform and document test/ results for embedded control systems, focusing on matching theoretical and experimental data Cooperate with cross-functional team of experts within VAT R&D organization and hubs (in Haag, Mendrisio and Zurich) YOUR COMPETENCES Engineering Degree (MSc) in mechatronics engineering, computer sciences or similar Good track record in C programming for embedded systems and related Development Toolkits including uCs Good experience with Python, Matlab, Simulink is beneficial Good experience in system control and observation, as well as system identification, with reference to motion systems is mandatory Knowledge of linear and nonlinear control theory Basic knowledge of C/C++ programming language and firmware development is beneficial Hands-on, systematic approach, creative thinker with problem-solving skills and a team player Interested?We look forward to your online application.
