# Data Engineer - SAP BW to Microsoft Fabric Migration # (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Switzerland Start date: 08/26 Reference number: 877532/1 ### Responsibilities ### * Lead and execute the migration from SAP BW to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI * Analyze existing SAP BW data models, reports, and ETL processes * Design and implement modern data solutions in Microsoft Fabric * Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports * Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability throughout the migration * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setup * Provide technical guidance and best practices during the transition phase ### Profile ### * Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) * Proven experience in replacing or migrating SAP BW landscapes * Deep knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (preferred) and/or Power BI * Experience in data modeling, ETL, and analytics transformation * Solid understanding of end-to-end data platform modernization * Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) * Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment ### Benefits ### * Remote Work possible * International Environment - Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders * Exciting Transformation Project - Play a key role in migrating from SAP BW to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
