Join the OENT of Neuchâtel as a Cantonnier, ensuring road safety. Tasks Maintain and enhance roadways and green spaces effectively. Handle snow removal and salting during winter months. Assist with civil engineering and masonry tasks as needed. Skills Experience in civil engineering or green space maintenance required. State of Neuchâtel | Online since: 16/06/2026 Road Maintenance Worker SPCH146 The OENT of SPCH is responsible for ensuring the viability and sustainability of the road network in the canton of Neuchâtel, guaranteeing and improving the safety of users as well as planning and carrying out road development and heavy maintenance works. As part of your role within division 1 of the OENT, you will work as part of a team carrying out various roadworks such as maintenance of road surfaces and green spaces, snow clearance and salting of roads during the winter period, as well as minor civil engineering and masonry works. You will also contribute to the maintenance of watercourses by working on their banks and the structures located there. Other tasks may complement your activity, including maintenance and works around buildings used by the service. You have experience in civil engineering or maintenance work related to green spaces. You enjoy outdoor activities and demonstrate a genuine team spirit, while adapting to variable working hours, especially during the winter period. Comfortable with the demands of an on-call service, you know how to make decisions when necessary. Good physical condition is essential, with a medical examination planned before your appointment. You hold a category B and BE driving licence. Residing close to the workplace, you can respond quickly if needed.
