We-re looking for an Associate Director to: - support and selectively lead strategic M&A initiatives across UBS Group - identify, evaluate and execute M&A transactions and related strategic projects end-to-end - conduct detailed market research, financial analysis and valuation work to assess potential targets and strategic options - develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making - synthesize quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear, concise recommendations for senior management - prepare high-quality presentations and materials for internal and external stakeholders - collaborate closely with business divisions, group functions and external advisors Job Reference \# 338323BR City Zürich Job Type Full Time Your team You-ll be part of the Group M&A team, which is responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing inorganic opportunities across UBS. The team manages transactions end-to-end and advises senior leadership on strategic M&A priorities. We work closely with the Group Executive Board, business divisions, control functions and external partners, playing a key role in shaping UBS-s strategic direction. Your expertise - strong academic background with a university degree in finance, economics, business administration or a related field - solid experience in investment banking (preferably within Financial Institutions Group), corporate finance, or a comparable role - proven expertise in valuation, financial modelling and transaction execution - outstanding analytical skills with the ability to structure complex problems and identify key value drivers - strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex topics clearly and concisely - advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel - team-oriented, proactive and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment - high level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail - fluent in English; German is a plus About us UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
