About the job The Natural History Museum presents various aspects of living and non-living nature in its exhibition. In the Children's Museum, nature is made tangible for the youngest visitors. Exciting materials for exploring and playing are available. Would you like to welcome our over 30,000 visitors per year, guide them, and accompany the little ones in playful exploration?   We are looking for a new team member starting 1 September 2026, who will work every Thursday as well as once or twice a month on weekends as a supervisor in the exhibitions, museum shop, and Children's Museum. In addition to these regular shifts, you will cover shifts as a substitute during school holidays or in case of short- and long-term absences, both during the week and at weekends. Great flexibility is therefore very important to us. Your Tasks Ticket control as well as welcoming and guiding museum visitors Opening and closing the exhibitions, including operating electronic and optical devices in the exhibition area Product presentation, restocking, and cleaning tasks in the museum shop Cash register operation and accounting Supervision and animation of museum visitors in the Children's Museum Your Profile Completed vocational training and several years of professional experience Willingness to work partly irregular hours and shifts on weekends as well as during school holidays (high flexibility) Enjoyment in interacting with small and large museum visitors Experience working with children Good spoken English and/or French skills are an advantage What We Offer Committed, competent, and supportive team Varied range of tasks Equality, diversity, and inclusion Further benefits can be found on our website.
