Join a dynamic traffic monitoring team in Camorino, Switzerland. Enjoy a supportive work environment with great benefits. Tasks Oversee highway traffic using video and alarm systems for safety. Respond to user inquiries, assess situations, and notify patrols. Assist operational patrols with technical support and special transport. Class and annual salary (including 13th month): 4 58,067.-- / 90,237.-- Tasks: monitor traffic on motorway and semi-motorway sections via video and alarm systems, to ensure an appropriate response to situations receive user requests, assess the situation and notify patrols or public or private emergency services, to ensure an action appropriate to the needs support operational patrols intervening on the relevant motorway or semi-motorway sections by implementing necessary technical measures provide requested support to operational personnel on the ground, whether technical or police manage and organise special transports contribute to taking on additional tasks if necessary ensure constant and continuous personal updating, guaranteeing consolidation of automatic responses in emergency procedures respond quickly and comprehensively to road user needs (SOS columns, telephone calls for road problems, etc.) Requirements: Swiss citizenship possession of a federal certificate of competence (three-year AFC); possession of an AFC in IT or technical fields is a preferential qualification possession of a category B driving licence good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) excellent communication skills with internal and external users ability to work independently and organisational skills teamwork attitude professional experience good general health, in particular absence of conditions that impair regular work performance for the position, physical constitution allowing shift work over 24 hours willingness to work shifts, flexible hours and to perform overtime or on-call duties good conduct: no prior convictions or behaviour incompatible with the position only tattoos that do not express discriminatory or offensive messages and are not located on the neck, nape, skull, face or hands at the time of application are permitted excellent knowledge of Italian (spoken and written) and good spoken and written knowledge of a second official language, preferably German Special remarks: place of work: Camorino obligation to attend ISP training for ASP (Public Security Assistants) at the CFP in Giubiasco and obtain the related certifications employment will initially be in the form of an assignment (art. 15 LORD) and will be converted into appointment upon obtaining the relevant certifications candidates participating in the competition authorise the Cantonal Police to process all data necessary for security and good conduct verification employees who voluntarily leave the force within three years of employment may be required to reimburse training costs Application conditions: applications must be submitted online.
