Job Description Patient Reception and Relations Welcome patients with professionalism, kindness, and discretion Ensure administrative registration and management of patient files Inform and guide patients throughout their care pathway Administrative Management and Organisation Plan and manage appointments by optimising schedules Handle telephone calls and patient requests Update medical records in computer systems (EHR) Write and process medical and administrative correspondence Manage orders and stock (medical equipment, consumables, supplies), liaising with suppliers and service needs Clinical Assistance Prepare patients for consultations and examinations Assist healthcare professionals during medical procedures Perform certain technical care (vital signs measurement, blood sampling, injections, dressings; ECG according to skills) Ensure proper installation and comfort of patients Coordination and Communication Act as liaison between patients, doctors, care teams, and external partners Transmit necessary information to ensure continuity of care Participate in coordinating patient pathways Billing and Medical Administrative Management Participate in billing processes and file follow-up Verify insurance information and coverage Ensure compliance of administrative documents Quality, Hygiene and Safety Respect hygiene, safety rules, and current protocols Ensure confidentiality of medical data Maintain a clean, organised, and secure work environment Qualifications Training Diploma as a medical assistant or equivalent training (CFC medical assistant or recognised equivalence in Switzerland) Additional training in care or hospital experience is an asset Professional Experience Previous experience in a medical practice, clinic, or hospital desired Initial experience in coordination or patient flow management is a plus Languages Excellent command of French (spoken and written) Minimum B1 level in English required, enabling basic professional communication with patients and interlocutors Technical Skills Proficiency with computer tools (Office Suite, scheduling tools, EHR / Opale) Knowledge of medical administrative procedures (appointment scheduling, file management, billing) Mastery of basic technical gestures (vital signs measurement, blood sampling, ECG, simple care, assistance with medical acts) Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality standards Personal Skills Excellent sense of welcome and patient service Empathy, kindness, and active listening Rigour, organisation, and priority management Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Reactivity and stress management in a dynamic environment Discretion and respect for medical confidentiality Additional Assets (Bonus) Experience in the Swiss hospital environment Knowledge of the Swiss healthcare system Ease in a high-activity environment Adaptability and autonomy Additional Information Promote a work environment that encourages exchanges and collaboration in a spirit of participative management Offer a modern workspace conducive to delivering quality services Regularly evaluate your skills and promote continuous training Define your professional objectives and support you in achieving them Offer competitive salary and social benefits as well as daily advantages as an employee We pay great attention to the diversity of life paths of our collaborators.
