# Accounting Specialist Avaloq # (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Zürich Start date: asap Reference number: 881701/1 ### Responsibilities ### * Design and implement the Accounting setup in Avaloq for a new Italian branch (separate Business Unit) * Configure chart of accounts, balance structures, and booking logic * Parameterize key Avaloq objects such as: BALACC, BALSTRU, BE\_BOOK\_RULE, BE\_POS\_RULE, VAT\_SET\_RULE * Define and implement VAT (MWST) rules, ideally aligned with Italian regulations * Support setup of loans/credit products and related accounting flows * Integrate accounting with interfaces and upstream/downstream systems * Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into Avaloq parameterization * Support testing, go-live preparation, and handover into operations ### Profile ### * Strong experience as an Avaloq Parametrization Specialist with focus on Accounting * Deep hands-on expertise in Avaloq ICE (no pure analyst/operator profile) * Proven experience with:Accounting setup (GL, booking rules, balance structures)  * Key Avaloq objects (BALACC, BE\_BOOK\_RULE, etc.) * Solid understanding of banking accounting principles * Ideally experience with VAT / tax setup, preferably Italian VAT * Experience in building or extending Avaloq setups for new entities/branches * Ability to work independently in a senior role within a parametrization team * Fluent in working in complex banking environments (e.g., loans, fees, taxation) ### Benefits ### * Opportunity to work on a specialized Avaloq setup role in a leading banking environment * Long-term project with high impact on accounting processes * Collaborative and professional working environment in Zurich
