EMEA recruitment is representing a globally recognized leader in sustainable product development and advanced manufacturing. As they establish their Swiss HQ in Lucerne, they seek a proactive  **Accountant** to manage local statutory compliance, Swiss GAAP FER reporting, and act as the primary liaison for Swiss authorities. **Location:** Lucerne, Switzerland (Hybrid) **Sector:** Advanced Technology / Sustainable Manufacturing **Requirement:** Swiss Fachausweis (Mandatory) **Your Responsibilities:** * **Compliance Lead:** Own the preparation and filing of all Swiss corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax declarations * **Financial Reporting:** Maintain the general ledger under **Swiss GAAP FER** and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory financial statements * **Global Collaboration:** Act as the bridge between the Lucerne office and international stakeholders, coordinating with a global Shared Service Center (AP/AR/Treasury) and a dedicated accountant in the German branch * **Fixed Asset Management:** Oversee the fixed asset register for the new Lucerne office, ensuring compliance and accuracy * **Liaison:** Serve as the first point of contact for the Swiss Commercial Register, SFTA, and cantonal tax authorities **Candidate Profile:** * A Swiss-certified accounting qualification (**Fachausweis / Finanz- und Rechnungswesen**) is essential * 3+ years of hands-on experience in Swiss accounting and tax compliance *  Fluent in **German and English** (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate across global time zones * Proficient in SAP or similar enterprise-level accounting software * Solution-oriented, thrives in a "transition" environment, and enjoys working independently while staying connected to a global team **Why This Role?** This is a rare opportunity to shape the Finance function of a brand-new Swiss HQ for a company dedicated to sustainability and regenerative technologies.
