As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zürich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling is responsible for the services in the field of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the centre of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment. For the kjz Bülach we are looking for immediately or by arrangement a: Social Worker FH 80% fixed-term until 31 December 2026 with the option of extension with the following tasks: - Conducting civil law child protection measures and clarifications on behalf of the KESB - Clarifying concerns and advising mothers, fathers, children and young people - Coordinating and initiating supportive measures - Networking with other services in the field of child and youth welfare For this demanding task we are looking for a committed and resilient personality with: - University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work (mandatory) - Experience in youth and family welfare as well as in case management - Further training in systemic / solution-oriented counselling is an advantage - Mediation and communication skills, good written and oral expression and - Enjoyment of administrative tasks We offer you an interesting, demanding activity in a varied and lively working environment a supportive, interdisciplinary team from social work, psychology, health, administration and law.
