FernUni Switzerland stands for fully online university degree programmes and is accredited according to HFKG. It combines a flexible, location-independent part-time distance learning with an active, interdisciplinary research culture at the Brig campus. In five faculties – Law, Psychology, Economics, History, as well as Mathematics & Computer Science – we have been shaping modern teaching, learning and research for over 30 years and count over 2,700 students and around 550 staff members. To strengthen its research activities and teaching offerings in the French- and German-language study programmes, the Faculty of Psychology is advertising the following positions: Two Professorships in Clinical Psychology (2 x 100%), Open Rank Focus: E-Mental Health Workplace: Brig Start date: 1 February 2027, or by arrangement The Faculty of Psychology at FernUni Switzerland offers a dynamic, bilingual academic environment with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes as well as practice-oriented continuing education in German and French. The research focuses include, among others, learning and memory, neurocognition, affect, emotion and motivation, as well as neurodevelopment and neurodiversity. Researchers apply a wide range of modern methods, including electroencephalography, virtual reality and eye-tracking. In this context, the professorships in Clinical Psychology represent a strategic opportunity to further strengthen and expand the faculty’s research profile through clinical psychological expertise and to set new impulses for research and teaching.
