* Senior Manager - Strategy, Planning and Global Health Programmes * International Organization ## About Our Client ## Our client is an **international organisation based in Geneva**. As part of its ongoing strategic evolution, the organisation is strengthening its capabilities in **programme optimisation, planning and cross-functional coordination**, and is seeking a **Senior Manager** to support the delivery of key strategic priorities. ## Job Description ## Reporting to the **Head of Strategy & Planning**, you will play a central role in **driving coordination, structuring key processes and ensuring effective delivery of complex initiatives** across multiple stakeholders. This is a highly visible role requiring strong **strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement and programme management capabilities** within a global and matrix environment. **Strategic Coordination & Programme Delivery** * Lead the **operationalisation of strategic initiatives**, ensuring alignment across departments and stakeholders * Act as a **central coordination point** between internal teams, partners and country stakeholders * Structure and drive implementation plans, ensuring timely execution and delivery **Planning, Performance & Risk Management** * Oversee **planning cycles, performance tracking and reporting frameworks** * Monitor progress against objectives and proactively identify risks and mitigation actions * Support budgeting, forecasting and organisational planning processes **Stakeholder Engagement & Partner Coordination** * Build and manage relationships with a wide range of **internal and external stakeholders** * Act as a key interface with partners and support alignment on priorities and implementation approaches * Facilitate cross-functional collaboration in a complex international environment **Process Design & Continuous Improvement** * Develop and refine **guidelines, tools and processes** to support programme implementation * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and impact * Drive structured ways of working across teams **Representation & Cross-Functional Initiatives** * Contribute to **organisation-wide initiatives and working groups** * Represent the function in strategic discussions and support leadership priorities * Provide high-quality inputs for internal decision-making and governance processes ## The Successful Applicant ## * 8-12 years of experience in **strategy, programme management, consulting** * Strong experience in **managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives** * Proven ability to engage with **senior stakeholders and leadership teams** * Excellent **analytical, structuring and problem-solving skills** * Experience in **international organisations, development or public organisation** is a strong asset * Background in **management consulting or transformation roles** is a plus * Advanced degree in **economics, international development, business or related field** * Autonomous, structured and able to operate in **fast-paced and evolving environments** * Strong communication and influencing skills * **Fluent English required**, French is an asset ## What's on Offer ## * Strategic role within a **globally recognised international organisation** * High level of exposure and cross-functional collaboration * Opportunity to contribute to **large-scale programmes** * **5-year contract**, based in Geneva Quote job ref JN-052026-7026005 Job Function Consultancy, Strategy & Change Specialisation Consulting Industry Not For Profit Location Geneva Contract Type Interim Job Reference JN-052026-7026005
