# Senior Front-End React Developer # (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Zurich Start date: asap Reference number: 880207/1 ### Responsibilities ### * Take ownership of complex frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability * Partner closely with UX/UI designers and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive, high-quality user experiences * Deliver high-quality, production-grade React and TypeScript code for complex financial applications * Address advanced frontend challenges such as state management, performance optimization, and integration with distributed backend systems * Proactively refactor and modernize existing codebases where required * Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in both development and production environments * Contribute actively in an agile, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment ### Profile ### * Extensive, hands-on experience in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a strong focus on React at enterprise scale * Deep understanding of modern frontend ecosystems, tools, and frameworks (React, Node.js, build tooling) * Proven experience working with design systems and large, shared component libraries * Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and bash scripting * Experience in the financial services or other highly regulated industries is a plus * Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure * Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices * Exposure to API security, OAuth2, and related standards * Fluency in English ### Benefits ### * Long-term project in a leading bank
