Secondary Design Engineer

You create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentation for high-voltage GIS substation projects as part of an engineering team. ## Tasks - Prepare schematics and engineering documents for GIS secondary engineering scopes, including LCC and digital substation applications - Support engineering execution from base design and detail design through manufacturing documentation and as-built updates - Create preliminary BOMs, reports and manufacturing documents using approved engineering tools and standard processes - Perform structured self-checks and contribute to standard-compliant deliverables - Support technical clarifications with internal stakeholders, project teams and factories - Contribute to continuous improvement, standardization and engineering best practices - Apply internal guidelines, engineering standards and quality requirements ## Profile - Completed apprenticeship (EFZ) as Electrical Draftsman, Automation Technician, Electrical Technician or comparable qualification - 2-3 years of professional experience in electrical engineering design, drafting, automation or engineering project execution - Further education such as Technician School (HF) or Technical College preferred - Good understanding of electrical engineering principles and interest in high-voltage substations and GIS technology - Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering documentation - Experience with CAD or engineering software required - Good English skills; German is an advantage ## Offer - 80-100% workload - 3-6 months interim, then a permanent position ## Company Energy technology Apply online via Try&Hire with your profile — https://tryandhire.io/ch-en/jobs/e/secondary-design-engineer-tah-q5kk2/
