For the Electricity and Telecom Network area, Services Department, we are looking for a committed individual for the Controls and Permits division as part of a succession plan as Head of Controls and Permits (m/f/d) 100% We actively shape the energy transition and are looking for a motivated person who wants to help shape this change. This is what you will do: Technical and personnel management of seven employees in the Controls and Permits division First point of contact for all enquiries related to reporting and installation notifications Responsibility for processing technical connection applications from external partners (planners, installers, landowners, architects) Technical expertise in the dimensioning of network connections as well as carrying out control measurements Advising customers on tariff, energy and safety issues Checking safety certificates, initiating random checks and site inspections as well as regular documentation of the results Maintaining networks with other distribution network operators (DNOs) This is what you bring with you: For this demanding and interesting role, you have training as a federally certified electrical installer or electrical project manager FA, currently furthering your education towards a higher professional examination Business management training or a good understanding of business management Several years of proven leadership experience in a comparable environment Assertiveness, communication skills and many years of technical expertise characterise you Your confident manner and your sensitivity to the concerns of customers make it easy for you to get in touch with them This is what we offer you: Exciting and interesting tasks – hands-on for the energy transition in the city of St.Gallen Extensive support during the induction period as well as a collegial collaboration with the whole team with a lot of personal responsibility Good opportunities for professional and personal development At least five weeks’ holiday, discounts on public transport and an attractive pension scheme A respectful working atmosphere and a culture of addressing each other informally Please submit your complete application documents online.
