Two Bachelor-level microeconomics courses will be taught in French. The research profile and the courses offered at Master level must clearly fall within the field of applied microeconomics. Possible areas include, but are not limited to: labour economics, health economics, education economics, competition, personnel economics or innovation economics. Desired profile The successful candidate must hold a doctorate (Ph.D.) in economics or a related field, demonstrate an excellent research record in applied microeconomics, strong teaching skills, and the ability to supervise Bachelor and Master theses. As the University of Fribourg is bilingual (French/German), proficiency in French is required and knowledge of German (oral level B1) is expected. If not already proficient, this skill must be acquired within two years of taking up the position.
