Optimize magnetic circuits and electromagnetic components for efficiency. Conduct experiments on magnetic materials and field distributions. Skills Master's/PhD in Physics or related field required. Strong knowledge of magnetism and electromagnetic fields essential. Experience with measurement and simulation tools preferred. What I do Further development of a magnetisation system from conception to commissioning Optimisation of magnetic circuits, pulse current sources and electromagnetic components (efficiency, stability, process reliability) Conducting analytical and experimental investigations on magnetic materials and field distributions Development of measurement, testing and calibration concepts for system characterisation Close collaboration with production, electronics, mechanics and software support in troubleshooting, data analysis and process optimisation What it takes Completed degree (Master/PhD) in physics or a comparable field Good knowledge of magnetism and electromagnetic fields; ideally some experience with magnetisation processes or pulse current technology Practical experience with measurement and simulation tools (e.g. FEMM, COMSOL, LTspice, MATLAB) Know-how in power electronics or electric drives is a plus Structured, analytical working style and enjoyment in experimentally verifying things Team player with curiosity, clear communication as well as very good German and English skills Benefits Infrastructure & Equipment: Depending on the location, there are free parking spaces, changing rooms with shower facilities, discounted clothing and other advantages.
