YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES As a Group IT Business Consultant Trainee, you will develop the skills to bridge business needs with technical solutions. You will work closely with senior consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to analyze requirements, design business processes, and support the implementation of IT solutions. This trainee program provides a structured, hands‑on introduction to IT consulting and prepares you to take ownership of your first consulting tasks within three months, followed by ongoing project assignments. Your Development Journey Month 1 – General Onboarding Company structure, culture, and consulting methodology Core IT systems, tools, and internal processes Basics of business analysis and requirements engineering Introduction to project management frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) Security, compliance, and quality standards Outcome: You understand how the company operates, how projects are structured, and how IT Business Consultants work. Month 2 – Role‑Specific Onboarding Training on relevant products, platforms, and technologies Hands‑on exercises in process mapping, user story creation, and solution design Shadowing senior consultants during workshops and client meetings Learning documentation standards, reporting, and communication best practices Outcome: You can support real projects and actively contribute to analysis and documentation. Month 3 – Project Shadowing Observation of end‑to‑end consulting activities Assistance with requirement gathering, testing, and solution validation Participation in internal and client meetings Learning stakeholder management and structured delivery Outcome: You are ready to take responsibility for your own work packages. After 3 Months – Your First Projects Ownership of small consulting tasks or sub‑projects Conducting requirement analyses and preparing documentation Supporting solution design and implementation Collaboration with cross‑functional teams (developers, QA, PMO) Direct client communication under guidance Continuous development through training and certifications YOUR PROFILE Bachelor or Master of Applied Sciences (Business Informatics, IT, Engineering, Data Science, or similar) Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Interest in both technology and business processes Good communication skills and proactive mindset Fluent in English and German (spoken and written) WHAT WE OFFER You will work in a professional and collaborative IT consulting environment with early responsibility and real project exposure.
