About the job Are you a strategic Market Access and HEOR professional ready to shape the commercial and clinical destiny of an innovative pipeline? Debiopharm is seeking a Global Value & Access Lead to define and drive the long-term Global Value & Access strategy across our entire pipeline portfolio. Location: Lausanne, Switzerland Department: Business and Program Leadership & Management; Global Value & Access Contract: permanent role, full-time. Your Mission. In this dual-impact role, you will blend high-level strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on team leadership. You will lead the value proposition for our assets from early development through to commercialization, while mentoring a team member to foster a high-performing culture. Key Responsibilities Strategic Market Access & HEOR Value & Evidence Generation: Develop Global Value Dossiers and lead patient-centered outcomes research strategies, including COA selection, burden of illness studies, and utility data generation. Health Economics & Modeling: Drive innovative HE projects, including early cost-effectiveness studies, budget impact analyses, cost minimization models, and indirect treatment comparisons. Payer Engagement & TPP Optimization: Conduct early payer engagement initiatives and optimize Target Product Profiles (TPPs) to establish clear competitive advantages and secure future reimbursement. Pricing & Analytics: Utilize strong financial acumen and analytics to model pricing scenarios and evaluate their impact on volume and revenue. Partner with Market Intelligence and Marketing to build early-stage business assessments and revenue forecasts. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Relationship Management Integrate HEOR, pricing, and market access perspectives into wider project strategies, contributing to Integrated Development Plans and advisory boards. Deliver strategic deliverables in partnership with commercial partners and build advocacy alongside Medical and Marketing teams. Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with external experts, influencers, and vendors to uphold Debiopharm’s credibility. Leadership, Governance & Departmental Excellence People Management: Recruit, train, and mentor one direct report, conducting performance reviews, setting annual objectives, and coaching on strategic thinking. Portfolio & Budget Oversight: Manage resource allocation across the pipeline, develop and manage the annual budget, and establish KPIs to monitor progress against strategic goals. Quality & Innovation: Oversee quality control for all external-facing materials (publications, posters) and embrace new research methodologies to champion the internal reputation of the Pricing & HEOR team. Experience: 5 to 10 years including proven experience in Global Market Access, Pricing, and HEOR within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably overseeing multi-asset pipelines. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience or strong capability to manage, mentor, and develop junior talent, fostering professional growth and strategic thinking. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of health economic modeling (cost-effectiveness, budget impact), patient-reported outcomes (COAs), and global pricing dynamics. Business & Financial Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into revenue forecasts and strategic commercial perspectives. Strategic & Collaborative Mindset: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey the risks and benefits of complex methodologies to the wider business and build strong cross-functional relationships.
