# EI&C DeltaV Engineer # (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Visp Start date: asap Reference number: 895984/1 ### Responsibilities ### * Design and implement Emerson DeltaV automation solutions for CAPEX projects * Configure control strategies, system interfaces, graphics, alarms, and process automation applications within the DeltaV environment * Prepare and maintain GxP-compliant engineering and validation documentation according to company standards * Support integration of DeltaV systems with process equipment, PLCs, MES, utility systems, and other plant systems * Execute and document FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ, commissioning, qualification, and startup activities * Troubleshoot and resolve automation, communication, and control system issues throughout the project lifecycle * Ensure compliance with GMP, data integrity, change control, and validation requirements * Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Validation, Quality, and Project teams * Support the delivery of automation solutions within CAPEX project environments * Contribute to system optimization and continuous improvement initiatives ### Profile ### * Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline * Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV system engineering and configuration * Strong knowledge of process automation, control systems, and system integration * Experience developing and maintaining GxP-compliant documentation in regulated industries * Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation processes * Experience integrating DeltaV systems with PLCs, MES, and process equipment * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Experience working within CAPEX project environments * German language skills required * English language skills are an advantage ### Benefits ### * Opportunity to work on large-scale CAPEX projects in a highly regulated manufacturing environment * Exposure to advanced Emerson DeltaV automation technologies * Involvement in the full project lifecycle from design through commissioning and startup * Work with multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Validation * Challenging technical environment with complex automation systems * Opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing and digitalization initiatives * High level of ownership and responsibility within project execution * Professional development in process automation and control systems * Dynamic and collaborative project environment
