With nearly 1,400 employees, the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics is a medical centre focused on the elderly person and is spread over 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour (Stern) and Joli-Mont. It manages acute situations, notably through the geriatric emergency services and intermediate care at the Trois-Chêne Hospital, acute units including some focused on geriatric syndromes, geriatric rehabilitation units, musculoskeletal, cardiological, neurological and oncological units, and long-stay units. It also includes a specialised palliative care service, a community geriatrics unit, a liaison geriatrics unit, and the Memory Centre. You supervise and ensure quality medical services, under the supervision of the medical hierarchy, within a care unit in the Department of Rehabilitation and Geriatrics. You coordinate practical activities, clinical or therapeutic interventions both clinically and administratively and organisationally. You participate in the training of trainee doctors and have the opportunity to benefit from high-quality postgraduate training contributing to obtaining the specialist title in internal and general medicine (category B general internal medicine service), the specialist title in geriatrics (category A geriatrics service), and the specialist title in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Furthermore, you contribute to a noble and socially important mission and benefit from a diverse training environment within the department. Qualifications You hold the federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO recognition). For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
