About the job Care Qualified nurse for the Staff and Occupational Medicine Service The Staff and Occupational Medicine Service, attached to the Directorate Department of CHUV, is looking for a nurse at a 50% activity rate, to contribute to occupational health missions for the institution's employees. The starting date is scheduled for 1 September 2026 or to be agreed. Context The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education. The Staff and Occupational Medicine Service provides care, support and assistance to CHUV employees. It works on the prevention of occupational risks, participates in improving working conditions and actively contributes to the promotion of health in the workplace. Mission You provide, under medical responsibility, occupational health services intended for new employees You check and ensure the follow-up of the vaccination status of CHUV employees You provide first aid, particularly in cases of occupational accidents, blood and biological fluid exposure accidents, and in contact tracing investigations You contribute to the collection and updating of medical data necessary for employee follow-up You participate in the promotion of occupational health and the management of occupational risks You ensure the supply of the service with materials and medicines You participate in the training of new unit employees as well as in the supervision of HES students You contribute to prevention actions, notably vaccination campaigns and booster vaccinations. Profile You hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent qualification, accompanied by recognition from the Swiss Red Cross for foreign diplomas (mandatory) Ideally, you have training in occupational health (e.g. CAS) You have at least 5 years of confirmed experience in acute care Experience and/or training in occupational health is an asset You possess up-to-date knowledge of nursing care at regional, national and international levels You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills You appreciate working in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate easily with various stakeholders You demonstrate autonomy, commitment and very good stress resistance You have good analytical and synthesis skills, a sense of responsibility, good adaptability as well as excellent organisational and prioritisation skills You are proficient with common computer tools You master French both orally and in writing.
